omg... it's the end of August already... my favourite season is coming to an end... so sad... *sob* *sob*... it's been a while since my last update, so here are some updates...

I do beach volleyball almost every weekend, and must say, it's been really really fun...
until last weekend... hmmm... I've discovered that I'm allergic to my suntan lotion that I've been using all summer... I broke out with red spots all over... quite disgusting acutally... still taking allergy pills now... making me really drowsy, been working from home almost everyday this week... went to the doctors for recheck today, finally things are getting better after these allergy pills... no beach this weekend... and September will be too cold... *sigh*... maybe I can squeeze in one more session in September. Thanks to all the dedicated members who's been coming every weekend. Think I'm gonna start an indoor volleyteam in TIC so we can continue to play in the summer, but the real volleyball better not hurt... haha....

August 1st long weekend
took a long weekend trip to niagra...
Marineland on Friday - hey what's that I hear from all you big macho guys that marineland is a boring place for kids... I really liked it... hehe... the shows were cool, and the deer park was really fun... at first the deer were scared of me, until they discovered my icecream, then the whole hurd of them started chasing me... haha... vicious animals... but truthfully, the place is too empty, too much walking... and anyone who knows me knows that lazy me hate walking... they should really fill it up a bit more... build more rides... ohoh... but I bought a cute red marineland hat... hehe... so that makes up for it, they have nice products... lol... Rita and Ken joined us at night...went to this greek restaurant at fort erie (that's where we stayed, right next to the peace bridge for our exciting day tomorrow)... had a nice chat with the waiter, whose family ownes the place, gosh they must be lonly over there, he was sooo excited to see us young people, similar to his age that he shared his entire life story with us, how he was just a helper, then became a busboy, then a waiter, and now the cook, his cooking was pretty decent I must say... not bad for a 20 year old... makes me ponder how these out of town people are so nice to strangers, whereas us the big city T.O. people are sooo mean, when was the last time you stopped and said hi to a stranger on the road? If anyone did that, we'd probably think he's a serial killer and turn around and run the fastest we can in the opposite direction... *sigh*

6 flags on Saturday...Sue and Dave joined us in the morning after our delicious breakie at the local timmies, timmies was sooo packed!!! tsk tsk tsk... sue forgot her passport... but I guess our answer to "Where are you going?" - "6 flags" was good enough for her to get through... hehe... it was such a short drive... around 30 mins from peach bridge to darien lake... and I must say... 6 flags rocks! had sooo much fun... the lineups were sooo much shorter than wonderland... 20minutes max on a saturday, it was amazing... never going on a wooden rollercoaster again, they were so fun when I was young, but now they're just sooo painful... SUPERMAN is the BEST! 205 miles drop of 70 degrees angle at a speed of 70 miles per hour is just amazing that we decided to go back one more time and end the day, waited for almost an hour for the very first seats of the cart... and I must say, it was sooo worth the wait... if you ever go, you have to go in the first seat... over looking the water of mist from 205miles and crashing down on it at a speed of 70 miles per hour, my face must've been so stretched out that my skull was gonna come out... what a drastic description... it was AMAZING... hehe... I love SUPERMAN... it was really cool... next stop Cedar Point... start planning NOW... haha...

shopping at niagra on Sunday
the outlets are ok over there... I didn't really find anything special though... oh well... heard the buffalo one is better... note to self, plan another shopping trip...

Thankies goes to Fran for taking me to Marineland, although you didn't even like the place... and for driving all over the place all weekend, and walking and bearing with me with my endless shopping... you're the best... :)

July 27th
went with Fran to 360 to celebrate our anniversary... I've heard so many mixed reviews about that place, that I've gotta see it for myself... and I must say, it was much nicer than I had expected... and the food was spectacular... out of all the restaurants that I've been to in Toronto, I must say it's one of the best ones, the rice salad scallop appetizer was yummy... amazing... hehe... note to myself, gonna start one of those restaurant reviews and review the food of all the restaurants I've been to... lol... wouldn't mind that as an occupation... hehe...

worked till almost 3 last night... but at least it makes me feel accomplished... *yawn*... not really tired from the lack of sleep though, think it was more due to a fulfilling lunch... Talking about lunch... lunch today was quite eventful... I spilled water... clumsy me... hehe... conveniently over Fran though... haha... sry Fran, don't think you're amused... not that I did it on purpose nor do I find it that funny or anything... I'm just really amused at the fact that a cup full of water... I knocked it over, and it just happened to land conveniently all over Fran, and yet I had no single trace of it on myself... lol... sry... I did offer you an apple though... :) haha... you gotta admit... it was pretty funny though... me promiss try not to do that again... :)

Eglinton is congested no matter what time of the day it is... Went out to dinner with Haiyan today... haven't seen her for sooo long... it's great to finally meet up after so many reschedules... I miss these chickie talks... quite different from chats with Fran... more girlie and giggly... girls are so much more expressive, with so much more girlie expressions - facial movements and hand gestures... hehe... we stopped by the Jacob outlet during our walk after dinner... and we bought the same skirt... different colours of course... gosh... I just love shopping... just makes me happy... anytime... I remeber back in school... every time I finish one of those hard midterms, I'd treat myself with a shopping trip, then everything was alright again... : ) ... it was such a fun night... :) Thought taking the highway home would be faster... and it's just a little past 10... should be nice and clear... sure enough... DVP was nice and clear... but I can't believe the traffic after I got off the DVP onto Eglinto... don't u people ever go home... would've been faster had I taken local... *sigh*

I'm always late coming to work on Mondays... I've tried to come to work by 9 everyday, so I can leave seeing the sun... I love the sun and I love summer, the warm and fuzzy feeling it brings... keeps me happy and energetic... :) Even on rainy days, I try to brighten up the day by wearing bright summer colours... puts a smile on my face... sounds silly, but it seems to work... :) Everyone else seems to like to start the week early though, taking up all the front parking spots, making lazy me park at the back and walk... strangely enough, I don't really mind it at all... on the contrary, I quite enjoy the walk from the back parking lot, across the brown rusty looking bridge, beside the wild plants and trees that seems to grow in every direction trying to attack you... and over the often dry spring (if you can even call it a spring)... the air is not usually fresh in the summer by 9:30... it's often warm and humid... filled with the smells of the wild flowers and plants... but it's only then when the air feels so rich and full of life... remember those Amazon rain forest tapes that we watched during geography class in high school... kinda reminds me of that... and I've always wanted to visit there... so... maybe that's why I don't mind parking in the back, maybe that's why I like the walk from there and maybe that's why I always come to work later on Mondays... maybe that's the closest us city people ever gets to nature when working in the city all our lives...
